Happy Friday, Room 14!

We had a busy, fun-filled week!
Students did some research on the computers to learn about an animal that lives and survives in cold weather. Animals have some pretty impressive adaptations to help them stay warm!

We finished off the week with a new seating plan. It's nice to mix things up and have a fresh start for next week. We also took part in a school-wide challenge, to have a clear desk and a clear mind! We worked hard to clean out desks, tidy up our classroom, and organize our school supplies and notebooks. Room 14 looks amazing! Maybe you will feel motivated to clean your rooms this weekend... ๐Ÿงน๐Ÿ˜œ

4 Parent Volunteers Needed
In-School Field Trip: Le Roi Daniels School
Wednesday March 2nd, 12:15 pm-2:30 pm
We are moving into the next Science unit soon - Exploring Liquids. We have a fantastic afternoon planned on March 2nd, which will be a fun introduction to the unit. We will have 4 stations set up in our classroom, and parent volunteers get to lead the stations! If you have your CBE volunteer clearance, and you are interested in joining us, please email me and let me know as soon as possible.

Thanks so much parents!

Monday is Valentine's Day, and casual day! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’

Wear your pink, red, purple clothes (or any casual clothes) and we will have a wonderful Valentine's Day together. If you'd like to make cards for your classmates, please include everyone. You are welcome to share non-food treats as well, but it's not necessary. Last week's blog (below) has the list of student names. :)

Please remember:
1. Check this blog every weekend
2. Bring Library books to school every Tuesday
3. Fridays: Homework due and weekly spelling tests

Have a great weekend!
